Graduation for the Trainees

These are the Adult Literacy Trainees with their certificates.  Well done to all involved!  We look forward to the abundant fruit of salvations and literacy for each church!

Up and Running Again

After a time away from cyberspace we are back.  We hope you will enjoy our posts and pictures.

Here is a picture of the adult literacy training held in Sekute Village for those living in Katubiya, Maheletuna and Sekute Villages.  Guests from Overland Missions were also in attendance.

Pastor Kenneth Mate, Levy and Silias were trained by the Baptist Adult Lilteracy Ministry (BALM).  We were the first group for these fine pastors to train.  They did a great job teaching trainees to lead Adult Literacy classes and also leading others to Christ's free gift of salvation.

Our chefs for the week were Judith and Intoliwe (her son Magot was a helper to his Mom).

Participants slept in tents or in friend's huts, used outdoor showers and toilets and ate from meals cooked in pots from the open fire.  It was a great time of sharing and learning!  "Each one teach one and win one for Christ!"  This was and is our motto for the adult literacy classes.  We praise God for the opportunity to bring this valuable program to the rural areas of Zambia!
